PVC PLASTICISERS
A plasticiser is a substance that makes PVC flexible, resilient and easier to handle.
The selection of plasticisers depends on the final properties required by the final product (low or high temperature resistance, softness level... )
Modern monomeric plasticisers for PVC are synthetic organic chemicals : esters, such as phthalates and adipates. The most common are DOP (Di Octyl Phthalate ), DINP (Di Iso Nony I Phthalate, DBP (Di ButyI Phthalate ), DIDP (diisodecly phthalate), DOA (Di OctyI Adipate ) an d TOTM (Tri- OctyI Tri- Mellitate).
